I'm a creative, independent and sometimes stubborn person who enjoys spending time with my husband more than any thing else in the world.
I'm a Georgia girl (lady sounds too old!) with a full blown southern accent. As soon as words escape these lips, there is no denying where I was raised. I love being from the South and everything that surrounds it. Southern hospitality, sweet tea, pecan (that's pronounced pee-can) pie, small, friendly towns, people who still say yes ma'am and no sir...what's not to love? I could write an entire blog just about that.
I knew from the time that I was in elementary school that I wanted a degree in Marketing. I love the field and the fact that in a creative field, there is rarely a wrong answer. I am the happiest in my working life when I'm diving into a new project and developing new ideas.
I'm married to a great guy who is currently serving our country in the Army. No children here, but, four animals that are more spoiled than most children. With my husband's current career plan, that family is destined to grow even larger.
I rarely watch television unless it's a re-run of an old show such as the Golden Girls, Friends or Will & Grace. With the exception of Fox so I can watch 24, I would be perfectly happy if the only channels available were Lifetime, HGTV and The Weather Channel during hurricane season.
We own a lot of DVDs and I love watching the same movies over and over again. There are plenty I probably have pretty well memorized. Cocktail, The American President, Never Been Kissed, You've Got Mail, The Notebook and anything with Matthew McConaughey are among my favorites.
I suppose that's enough about me for now. Of course, if you're just dying to know more, you can always email me. I'll be patiently waiting for the flood of emails I'm sure to receive...LOL.
Stamping, scrapbooking, writing, web design, watching re-runs, surfing the internet and reading books about motivation and leadership.
