Chris Neal Farm

After losing their son in Iraq, this family set out to help disabled veterans to be able to still enjoy the great outdoors. They are currently raising money to complete a lodge.

This was taken from the website...
- Camp Hope is dedicated to providing the resources for our veterans to again enjoy outdoor activities. There are over 2.3 million disabled veterans in the United States. Each of these soldiers sacrificed more than we will ever know. They should not have to sacrifice their dreams.

- Camp Hope is a 501 © 3, non-profit corporation founded in 2007 by William “Mike” White of North Carolina. The goal of Camp Hope is to construct a completely handicapped lodge where veterans may participate in hunting, fishing, canoeing, skeet shooting, hiking and relaxing in a peaceful setting.

- Camp Hope is located in Farmington, Missouri, 80 miles south of St. Louis.

Amazing that even in dealing with their own grief, they're still reaching out to help others.

Virtual Vietnam Wall Memorial

A photographer took more than 6,000 pictures of the Vietnam Wall to create a virtual experience. While visiting the Wall in person is definitely a moving and emotional experience, you can now pay tribute to all of those who gave their life during Vietnam from your home computer. The website allows you to search by name for those who gave all and also allows you to leave comments, share stories or post photos. I found my dad's cousin this morning and learned more about his death thanks to the comments that my uncle left.

Check it out. Its an amazing site.
